I'm ending the Fall Painting Challenge. 10 Brothers painted more than 250 miniatures. Once again Brother Carl has shamed us all with his productivity. I'm sorry that I didn't get certificates out to people at Scroogecon.
In other news, I've updated Warhammer page to make it geared towards 3rd Edition, which Brother Lukash and I have settled on as the edition will be playing.
2007-12-20 In an update on the OmahaHistoricalWargamers Yahoo group, Brother Ryan provided the following Scroogecon Info:
"Here's the website for Papio Greens. It shows the address and how to get directions. I'll have the clubhouse open by 10 am on the 27th. Bring whatever food/drinks you guys want. Alcohol is ok...as long as you share with Johnson! You can also zip out to get food if you want. It's not far to several food locations and we can always get pizza delivered (maybe Roman Coin pizza would be appropriate?) Of course if Bill's kicking my Carthaginians around then that may not be a good idea!

2007-12-12 If you haven't heard Brother Barnes with Brother in cooperation with Brother Ryan is bringing us Scroogecon IV. This year at Papio Greens on December 27th. I will report more details as I get them... Just thinking about it makes me smile.

Fall Painting Challenge is still going Brothers Bill and Chris Johnson (not related) have entered. Try and let me know in the next week what you've gotten done - we will probably restart after Scroogecon IV (yeah).

2007-07-26 The Summer 2007 Painting Challenge will end on Aug 30, 2007. I'm planning on attending Mage Con and will hand out the awards to those that I see there.

2007-05-19 The Summer 2007 Painting Challenge is going slowly. So far only three people have finished anything. And to make matters worse a dame is at the top of the scoreboard... I, for one, resolve to get some stuff done this week.

Brother Terry Callahan has jumped into the challenge and moved straight into 2nd place in the 2007 Painting Challenge by completing a bunch of 6mm Napoleonics. Right now Brother Carl is in first and Brother Terry is in 2nd - will we have a repeat of last summer's contest? Can Brothers Paul, Johnson, and Steve provide some competition?
2007-02-23 Brother Steve Brady has rocketed into first place in the 2007 Painting Challenge by completing 28 - 25 mm Bavarian Infantry from the Napoleonic Wars.

2006-11-27 Brother Barnicus has announced that Brother Randy has given the go for the Third Annual ScroogeCon. December 28th, from 8:00 AM til whenever at the Seymour Smith Park Gun-Club. Admission: Eats to share with the others and a willingness to game.
