Viscomte Etienne De Graf arrayed his knights, villains, and peasant scum into a position on the mountain road to intercept the dwarvish smugglers. The force rested waiting for the wagons to appear when, they saw the glint of metal from across the valley.

Soon the knights began to notice the stench of decay; the peasants with their less refined olfactory noticed it shortly after. Suddenly two groups of the foul minions of Nurgle burst from the woods, just as the Dwarvish wagons came down the road.

The Chevaliers D 'Epee moved to intercept the larger, but more lightly armored, unit of chaos thugs. Viscomte De Graf, accompanied by the mysterios Amorcier Melisande, led the eager Chevaliers Rampants into a charge of the heavily armored chaos warriors.

The Villains moved to block the road at the end of the valley while a unit of spear armed peasant rascalry moved to stop the dwarven carts. The bow armed peasant rapscallions milled around in a confused bunch, unsure what to do.

The Dwarves whipped their mules to a run and charged down the road.

The Chevaliers D'Epee and thugs battled back and forth in the middle of the road. The thugs blows were all turned by the knights' armor as a few thugs fell. But the large mob of thugs was able to use their advantage of numbers to push the knights back.

Meanwhile, the Viscomte De Graf and the Chevaliers Rampants were unable to hurt the heavily armored chaos warriors of Nurgle. All of the knights started to feel nauseous and boils and pustules started forming on their faces. The Armoricer Melisande, screamed and pointed to the horribly enchanted Nurgle Banner the chaos warriors carried...

The Dwarvish carts continued down the road running down a chaos warlord that had seperated himself from the rest. The carts then plowed into the melee between the Chevaliers D'Epee and the Chaos thugs killing several thugs. Some of the peasant rascalry were able to jump onto the carts, but they were quickly killed by the dwarvish guards.

The casualties from the carts and the Chevaliers D'Epee's continued and the mob of thugs broke and ran, pursued by the knights. The Chevaliers were able to capture the thugs banner and eventually were able to catch and kill the Marauder that was leading them.

Meanwhile, the Chevaliers Rampants were falling to the ground retching and writhing in agony from the horrible diseases inflicted on them by the foul banner of the Chaos warriors. Soon only the Viscomte himself was facing the Chaos Warriors. A unit of rapscallions, seeing their leige lord in danger, charged into the fray to assist them, only to fall to the blades of the foul nurgle warriors and the disease from the banner. Finally the Viscomte himself was struck from the saddle by the foul minions of Nurgle.

Further up the road another unit of rapscallions tried to stop the dwarvish wagons with bowfire, but their pitiful attempt had no affect. A unit of villains formed up and tried to board and stop the wagons, but they were also repulsed.

The Chevaliers D'Epee road down the chaos thugs. By the time they returned to the road, the dwarvish carts were far down the road and the Chaos warriors had marched away towards the village of Hap. The knights were able to help the wounded, and both the Viscomte and Amorcier Melisande were found alive.

After the Viscomte regained consciousness, he organized the survivors and sent riders to gather more troops. He then set off in pursuit of the Chaos vermin that were infecting his lands. The Amorcier Melisande gave out of cry of despair when she saw the pock-marks and scars left on her beautiful face by the foul disease...
